Having relaunched The Ffolkes in 2017 following an extensive £2m refurbishment, the business is growing at a fast pace having secured its place in the market with a family-friendly angle. It's positioning on the main Kings Lynn road with a large car park and only a five minute drive from Sandringham, The Ffolkes offers all-day dining from breakfast through to dinner.
The Ffolkes specialises in counter service, known and marketed as 'The Feast'. We have steered this offering around the style and demand of the business serving lots of customers in short spaces of time but also wanting to offer a really excellent quality of produce and theme. Our Breakfast service regularly attracts 200 + customers over the weekend services offering a full-range of hot counter, cereals, breads, fruit, hot beverages and even make your own waffle station. The weekend is when The Feast counter comes to life kicking off with Curry on a Friday, extended Brunch service on a Saturday, Smokehouse on a Saturday evening and of course the most established with The Pie Feast served from midday on a Sunday.
The ideal candidate will possess the following super strengths and passions...
- Organisation and structure. We are talking lists, daily plan of action and a real strategic mind for setting us up in the best possible way. In time, the ability to write balanced rotas & process the payroll.
- A thumbs up approach. We are a feedback led business, in fact we are obsessed with making the customer happy. This doesn't mean we always get it right but we have a loyal fan base via The Norfolk Passport in which we receive over 3,000 feedbacks per quarter. We use feedback to steer the business and the decisions we make.
- A great communicator. With the fast-pace environment our communication both to team and to the customer needs to be on point. The ability to think fast, pro-actively see the situation before it happens and communicate in an effective way to deliver the product to the best possible standard is vital.
- To lead. We want an inspirational department leader that will be approachable to staff whilst maintaining the thumbs up standard. This person will effectively train the team within a positive culture and attract future talent.
