About you:

We are looking for a full-time individual to join our accounts crew! Hidden Talents provide branding, marketing, accounts and tech support to various leaders in Norfolk’s hospitality sector, acting as the central hub to an ever-evolving innovative group of businesses. From communications to accounts, and payroll, we provide the tools and services that help our front facing brands to continue operating at maximum efficiency. We are a small yet passionate and quirky team based in Holt, Norfolk.

Individuals will have experience in a similar account’s capacity, or a real desire to direct their natural numerical skills towards learning the ropes of an accounts role with the hunger and ambition to progress within the business. A passion to help us drive the business forward, and keep the sites bottom line in check. Supporting a number of our brands within the Group which employs around 180-200 people, a positive communicator is key, alongside being super self-motivated. We offer the flexibility of working a hybrid working pattern from both Holt (a base of 2 days a week as a minimum) and from home once you are fully trained and up to speed.

Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Weekly accounts – each brand will form a weekly P&L. You will take this information, update & check, and present the confirmed P&L against relative comparatives and KPIs.
  • Quarterly accounts – you will be required to present the above information on a quarter to date format
  • Produce weekly & quarterly P&L forecasts – you will assist each brand leader in forming financial budgets. You will support with financial data from previous trading periods and relevant impacting factors
  • Site meets – From time to time you may be required to attend site meetings for our brands to help nudge them here and there!
  • Operational management financials – from time to time you may need to produce information that will be of use to the brand and help it simply understand how it is performing and shape its development
  • Reconciliations to Sage – you will be required to assist in bank reconciliations and reconciliation of weekly reporting back to our finance system throughout the financial year and at the year end
  • Cash ups & supplier invoices – you will be required to assist in the checking and uploading of cash ups on a weekly basis along with all supplier invoices from sites
  • Ad-hoc tasks – you may be required to assist in other administrative or processing tasks for any of our brands alongside the finance team. You may also be required to assist in any project work determined by the Finance Manager/Head of Finance


  • Undergoing AAT/CIMA/ACCA training, a desire to undergo AAT/CIMA/ACCA training or AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Preferably a knowledge of Excel
  • Not necessary – but financial software experience (we use Sage) would be handy
  • A geek at heart and willing to wear this badge proudly!
