Based in Holt, Norfolk, this digital marketing role will join ‘Hidden Talents’, a central support team that takes care of accounts, marketing, training and online for some of Norfolk’s leading brands and experiences.

This role is for maternity cover looking to start late February or early March for a period of approximately 12 months. Don't worry though, if you're really good we won't let you go!

With a database of 45,000 via the Norfolk Passport membership programme, this role is responsible for delivering key messages via social media, emails and brand websites, plus in-house marketing material where applicable.

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 based on experience

Hours of work: 40 Hours per week

Holiday entitlement: 28 days per annum inclusive of Bank Holiday

Key duties:

  • Daily maintenance of social media, pushing key marketing messages
  • Publish weekly sponsored advertising on Facebook business pages
  • Submit key marketing messages to Norfolk Passport’s Weekly Top 5 mailer -Regular emails for individual brands promoting key marketing messages
  • Maintain business websites using a content management system
  • Run and create online campaigns for seasonal promotions including Black Friday and seasonal gift vouchers for Valentine’s, Mother’s Day and Christmas
  • Monthly digital KPI reports to measure how well businesses are performing online using google analytics and in-house statistics
  • Populate and maintain the marketing calendar using a weekly catch up with the head of communications

Adhoc/One-off jobs:

  • Research, brief and oversee design and completion of new websites
  • In-house printing jobs
  • Organise one off design and layout of new menus and promotions handling the communication between brand and designer.
  • Minor design jobs (eg adding captions to images, resizing etc)
  • Provide accounts team with invoice data based on marketing spend as required   

Suitable candidates:

  • Digital marketing experience (in a similar size role)
  • Background of working with hospitality based brands
  • Enjoy working as part of a support team, in an open plan office

 Experience in:

  • Multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Sponsored advertising on Facebook
  • Tweetdeck
  • Using content management systems
  • Google analytics
  • Campaign monitor for email campaigns
  • Adobe Photoshop – desirable, but not essential
  • Handling multiple accounts each with their own brand style
  • Working with third parties such as designers, developers, and journalists
